I have I’ve always been interested in anything that tries to explain human nature and why people act the way they act and so I got into astrology. No not because that boy broke my heart and I wanted to dissect the compatibility. No really not . That’s shallow! There are more important things in life.

Astrology is the study of the stars. It is the constant alignment of the planets, asteroids and other stars at a particular moment in the sky to create each person’s unique existence.

In my opinion, astrology is nor science or religion . It’s a simple pleasure of life for me that I choose to dabble in from time to time. I see it as a tool to better understand the complexities of human beings . You can choose to subscribe to it or not there’s many other things out there.

Astrology is often mocked because not many people understand it. It is definitely way beyond the spectrum of what Horoscopes app is telling you Ms Leo your day is going to be about. Though valid, it is surface level.

Okay back to business . There are many different layers of astrology but I am briefly exploring how having a stellium can affect your inner planets thereby translating into an entirely foreign energy different from your Sun sign on certain occasions.

A stellium is not as rare as we think it is. Technically, it is having three or more of the planets in the same zodiac sign or houses. ( This does not include the rising sign) . Some people say three or more but I do believe two planets can do the trick . It basically means that more of that stellium energy will be applied to those aspects your life and you may possess a lot of that particular zodiac sign traits.

There are 10 major planets and we all have this in our chart but they are expressed differently depending on their placements. We have the inner planets and the outer planets. The inner planets are made up of the Sun, the Moon, Mercury, Mars and Venus. These inner planets govern us as individuals and they move quickly from sign to sign which means they have more impact on day to day lives than outer planets which move slowly over years and impact larger parts of our lives and society as a collective.

The sun is our personality, it’s who we already are at the core, the moon encompasses our emotions, how we react and feel. Mercury governs how we communicate and process information. Mars is how we take action and initiative in life and career paths. It is our anger, passion and aggression. Venus is how we want to be loved and how we express our love.

In relation to a stellium , I personally feel that for example as a Gemini if you don’t feel like a Gemini it’s for one of two reasons. You either have other placements that dilute your Gemini traits or you have a stellium of another sign . For example if you have your Mars, Moon and Mercury in Taurus even though your Sun is in Gemini, it means that your Taurus energy may dilute your Gemini energy so you will automatically feel different from a typical Gemini whom is always seeking more knowledge or dispersing information. Rather , you may find yourself more focused on the finer things in life , materialism and the family.

I would say if you find out you or anyone you know has a stellium , it can open up another path to self-discovery. It may answer some unanswered questions and help you understand certain patterns in your life which in turn can help you better manage the way you go about things in life.
