1. Dior and I (2015)

Director Frederic Tcheng takes you on a journey inside the colourful world of the Christian
Dior Fashion Empire. The glitz, the glamour and the first ever behind the scenes tour of
Creative Director Raf Simons debut “Haute couture collection”.

2. The men Inside the suits (A 2014 microfilm):

Guinness presents a short tale of recovery and the birth of classic fashion in the
Congo. Director Hector Mediavilla takes us on a journey through the history of the
birth of the original classic African man (The Sapeurs) after the years of the civil war
Witch catchy music, colourful wears and rich tradition, this film is one to get lost in.
3. Fresh Dressed (2015)

If you love hip hop and urban fashion, this movie will be your kryptonite, and even if you
don’t, it’s certain to turn you into a believer. Take a walk with director Sasha Jenkins and
discover how hip hop fashion evolved from the cotton plantations, to the South Bronx and is
now all over the world. An inspiring story of how the black community expressed themselves
through clothing and made a statement relevant till this day. The very definition of swag.
4. Manolo: The Boy Who made shoes for lizards

Shoe lovers, this is your corner! Veteran fashion journalist, Michael Roberts directs this
charming reveal of self-proclaimed cobbler, Manolo Blahnik and his legendary craft of
making shoes that set the standard for couture footwear. Take a strut into what it takes to
create designs and make shoes for the “creme de la creme” of the fashion and entertainment
world. Or simply watch it because Naomi Campbell and Rihanna are part of the yet again,
star studded cast.
5. An Alien in Town

Daniel Obasi takes us on a tour in Lagos, in a unique short film depicting Daniel’s
(the main character) imagery of a futuristic Nigeria. The creative piece in
collaboration with Africa’s fashion brand Vlisco & Co and A White Space Creative
Agency (AWCA), sheds light on how African Fashion and culture are perceived by
foreigners who’s perceptions and conclusions about Africa’s fashion are made based
on first impressions and stereotypes. A mesmerizing experience.
