The latest Jams to Vibe to while in Quarantine: Our fresh five music countdown.

Updated: Jun 9, 2020

1. Vibe with Disintegrate by Tochi Bedford and Santi:

Producer and Artist Tochi Bedford is back with more fire after the release of

acclaimed singles like News and L.A. Word of his plans to release his debut EP,

Eternal Mob are underway with his dreamy trap-styled vocals on his latest single.

Santi did not disappoint to bring his character to the mix, making a worthy listen from

start to finish.

Listen to it here.

2. Bring on the Jazz with Loti and Buju singing Time of

Our Lives:

Producer KD brings on another charmer teaming up with Loti and Buju to bring us a

vivid rendition of a tale of the growing pains of being young adults. The bouncy blend

of saxophones and the low rumble of percussion makes the jam akin to repeated

listening. Time of Our lives is definitely a bop to dance to.

Available on Apple Music

3. Lofi beats and chill with 21 by Banggz :

Ottawa based Nigerian Rapper, Banggz is showing his finesse in his latest single

21, a mini tribute to himself at a new age, yes you guessed it, 21. His flow is confident

and reckless in the hip hop bop. The bass is low and the jazz is smooth as he talks

about his demons and facing a new chapter in his life. The song is a debut on his soon

to be released EP These Songs Never Happened. If this jam is an indication of what’s

to come then I’m already sold!

4. Spice it up with Yeno Ntem by Nana Fofie:

Ghanaian beauty, Nana Fofie first gained presence back in 2017 after the release of

her funky mashups on YouTube. The media soon recognised her amazing vocals and

her audience gave her room to experiment with RnB and Afrobeats. Yeno Ntem is yet

another example of her singing prowess. The sound is fresh and gives the good family

feeling of summer fun and good times with friends. Something we definitely need in

such glum times *inserts sad emoji*. The music video was shot earlier in the year and

showcases colourful visuals sure to make you smile. Infectious, but in a good way

*wink*

5. Relate with Talksiick Ckay’s The Friend zone Song:

Upcoming Lagos based artist Talksiick, the recently discovered sound cloud artist is

making waves in little ways with the release of his latest EP Love Siick featuring

various other upcoming artists. His sound on this track is fresh and happy regardless

of the somewhat frustrating topic. Talksiick’s unique voice laced with Ckay’s

aesthetic ring and an upbeat rhythm is the perfect tune for summer. The artists tell a

funny but relatable story of what it feels like to be “Friendzoned” a place we’ve all

been before. Preach!

P.S if you’ve never been friendzoned before, you need to tell us your secret. Thanks.
